http://www.amsat.org.uk/iaru/formal_detail.asp?serial=108
Lite fakta om XW-1:
– Linjär transponder mellan 145 – 435 MHz med SSB/CW.
– FM repeater 145/435 transponder.
– CW beacon.
– Digital store-and-forward (packet).

We will try for the first time to reverse the magnet and “flip” the orientation of the satellite. While we do this, the 435.300 transmitter will be shut off for about 10 minutes. If the reversal is successful, we should see some changes in signal levels and patterns. This particular maneuver has not attempted since launch. In related news, as the spacecraft spin inexplicably continues to slow, we are seeing increasingly larger dips in the spacecraft voltage when the panels are poorly aligned to the sun. The immediate result of this is that we have had to decrease the power on both transmitters to prevent discharging the batteries too deeply.
We’ll be working on mitigating strategies this coming month. This may include using existing software routines to automatically lower the downlink power during these dips in power production, or resolving to run one transmitter at a time instead of simultaneous digital and repeater downlinks.

(I heard XW-1 will launch with HJ-1C by CZ-C2 launcher. If this is true, NASA Space Calender http://www2.jpl.nasa.gov/calendar/calendar.html
shows its launch date is March 2010.)

To
celebrate the launch of China’s first amateur satellite, XW-1,
AMSAT-China
will set up a special event station in Taiyuan, Shanxi
Province of China
using the callsign BT3WX. The station plans to
operate on all HF amateur
bands from 10 to 160 meters and on VHF/UHFamateur satellite bands, including
FM, SSB, CW, RTTY and PACSAT modes.
Operations at BT3WX have already
commenced and the special event
station will remain active until XW-1 is
launched. A specific launch
date has not been released as of press time, but
is expected in
mid-December.
A team of 200 participants will consist
of radio amateurs from all
around China, teachers and students, the State
Radio Regulation Bureau of China, the China Association for Science
Technology, the Chinese Society of Astronautics and the Chinese Radio Sports
Association officials, as well as journalists will participate in the
operation of BT3WX. Their goal is to inspire enthusiasm for amateur radio
satellite communications activities in China among radio amateurs and young
people learning satellite communication technology and space
knowledge.

Stations completing two-way
communications with BT3WX on 9 different bands and modes can apply for the
BT3WX HF communications award. The same band in different modes counts as a
different band / mode.

Amsatlistan)
Very unscientific I just used FENGYUN 3A and modified
the
Mean Motion to 13.19 orbits per day.
Then the height becomes approximately
1200 km.
As far as I can find out, FENGYUN 3A was sent up from the
same
spaceport as XW-1 will be.
I used NOVA for Windows. It allows the
change without complaint 🙂

Kommentar från SM7WSJ (Lite
spekulationer)
