ARISS contact for school in India to be webcast. As announced, an International Space Station school contact has been planned with Vidya Mandir Inter College, Meerut, India.
The event is scheduled Thursday 23 August 2018 at approximately 08:22 UTC (10:22 CEST).
The contact will be a telebridge operated by IK1SLD. Downlink signals will be audible in Europe on 145.800 MHz FM. Moreover the contact will be webcast on www.ariotti.com

Vad ska man ha denna till då? Jo om du har en dualband yagi eller annan antenn och behöver splitta på anslutning till VHF och UHF. Eller om du har två antenner uppe i masten men bara vill ha en antennkabel upp från chacket. Observera att den är specad till max 10 watt och är främst tänkt för portabelt bruk. Priset kommer dock bli mycket billigare än att köpa en fabriksbyggd diplexer.

Es’hailSat has tweeted their geostationary satellite Es’hail-2 is expected to be launched by SpaceX in the 4th quarter of 2018.
Qatar’s Es’hail-2 satellite will provide the first amateur radio geostationary communications and is capable of linking amateurs from Brazil to Thailand.
Es’hail-2 will carry two “Phase 4” amateur radio transponders operating in the 2400 MHz and 10450 MHz bands. A 250 kHz bandwidth linear transponder intended for conventional analogue operations and an 8 MHz bandwidth transponder for experimental digital modulation schemes and DVB amateur television.

Alan Kung, BA1DU reported that CAMSAT plans to launch CAS-6, a 50 kg
micro-satellite approx. 490 x 499 x 430 mm. A sea launch is planned
for September, 2018 from the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology
into a 579 x 579 km 45 degree orbit.
The mission will include:
